In Jio Happy new year offer period, the users can enjoy unlimited 4g data and free calling as same as the JWO. but here the daily limit of speed capping is reduced to 1 GB per day.

As per this law, Jio faced lots of issues from Government since the strong pressure from other networks.

But From jio, their side have a strong point to show. that is, In Jio welcome offer period users are not actually able to enjoy the offers satisfactorily. there are a lot of users are disappointed with Jio 4G speed and other services. So Jio gives an appeal to TRAI that, they need to extend the free 4g and calling offer for 3 months more.

We have told Telecom Regulatory Authority of India and government that customers have faced issues with regard to the quality of service due to the interconnection congestion and they have not been able to enjoy the services that they deserve and what we want to deliver to them. And till we are in a position where we can deliver the quality of service as desired by the Jio management, it will be unfair to charge the customer.

Anyway, From the Jio spoke person speech and news from some telecom experts, Jio is going to launch a new offer Jio Happy new year offer from 2017, January 1st. We can somehow say that Jio welcome offer will be converted to Jio Happy New Year Offer from January 1, 2017. But the offer details and confirmation is still unclear and we need to wait.
