UPDATE: [31ST MARCH 2018] Finally Jio releases a statement regarding Jio prime membership renewal. and it is a good news for all of us. jio prime membership for another 1 year will be free for us. 
here is the statement from Jio “All Jio Prime members who have subscribed to the exclusive membership benefits till 31st March 2018 will get another year of complimentary Prime benefits at no additional fee,”.

Guys, till now there is no any information published by jio regarding the jio prime membership renewal. no one knows what is jio’s plans after 31st March 2018.
Today I just called their customer care for enquiring about the same. and the reply from jio customer care executive was like this ‘ they have no any pieces of information regarding this, the company didn’t provide any updates on this’. he also said that jio will contact you before 31st March 2018 regarding the jio prime membership renewal.

My Views on Jio Prime membership Renewal

** They may offer free 1-year jio prime membership renewal and all other plans go as it is
** or they charge Rs 99 again for 1-year prime subscription and all other plans go as it is

There were some rumours spreading that ‘There’s a chance that they would play cunning monopoly after knocking off other competitors which may result in increase price rates’. But I don’t think so. Jio already grabbed a good number of users and made a good brand value in India now. If they play cunning monopoly now, then, of course, they lose their users. so am sure that they won’t do that.
Also, don’t forget that 1 year before we were paying rs 250 around for just 1 GB data with a validity of 1 month. what’s the current scenario, everything changed, we are getting 1gb/per day data for 3 months at a price range of Rs 399. This change is only because of jio launch. and we can hope that they will come with new amazing plans again.
